Lanran Tech Joined the Leadership of China’s New Energy Membrane Committee
🎉On May 16, 2025, the New Energy Membrane committee of the Membrane Industry Association of China (MlAC) was officially established in Nanjing. This marks a major milestone in advancing membrane innovation for energy transition in China.
We’re proud to share that Mr. Lou Yongtong, Chairman of Hangzhou Lanran Tech, has been elected Vice Chair of the newly established Committee, joining a leadership team composed of experts from top universities and national research institutions.
The committee includes 47 experts from 33 academic institutions, 10 enterprises, and 1 national organization, and aims to bridge membrane science and new energy technologies, promote industry standards, and accelerate industrial application of ion-exchange membranes in batteries, hydrogen, carbon capture, and more.

Developing group, industry, and national standards for new energy membranes
Establishing performance evaluation and monitoring systems
Launching a dedicated new energy membrane column in Membrane Science and Technology
Hosting regular online seminars to promote academic and industrial exchange
As a core member, Lanran Tech will continue driving the application of bipolar and ion-exchange membranes in lithium refining, acid-alkaline recycling, and carbon reduction technologies, contributing to a cleaner and smarter global energy future.
