Organic Acid & Alkaline Production
Description
Lanran’s BPED technology converts organic acid salts (e.g., sodium citrate, sodium EDTA) directly into high-purity organic acids and caustic soda, or produces organic bases such as TMAH, with no external chemicals added.
Process
- Organic salt solution enters BPED system.
- H⁺ from bipolar membrane replaces cation in the salt, forming free acid.
- Cation combines with OH⁻ to form NaOH (or other alkali).
