Another L𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞-𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 Bipolar Membrane Electrodialysis (BPED) Project Of LANRAN Successfully Commissioned

Lanran’s latest NF + BPED system has entered stable operation at a nano-scale electronic ceramic materials manufacturing facility in Chizhou, Anhui, China, supporting resource recovery from industrial wastewater and water reuse.

The system delivers:
✔️ Continuous production of approximately 2N hydrochloric acid (HCl) and 2N sodium hydroxide (NaOH)
✔️ Reuse of the recovered acid and alkali in upstream washing processes
✔️ Recycling of production wastewater back into the manufacturing process

The first phase currently operates three BPED units, producing approximately 4.5 m³/h each of hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide.

This project demonstrates how Nanofiltration (NF) and Bipolar Membrane Electrodialysis (BPED) can recover valuable chemicals from industrial wastewater while supporting water reuse in advanced materials manufacturing.

Lanran continues to provide practical membrane separation solutions that help industrial manufacturers improve resource utilization and support more sustainable production.
